bro...this is insanely awesome. I absolutely LOVE the art style and the backgrounds. for the gameplay aspect, it was hard to grasp the concept of using the arrow keys to attack and move and attack for the same key bind, but once I play the game more I started to understand it more. it's pretty unique and I don't think it needs to be remapped, just tweaked.

overall...this alpha must be made into a full game someday or I will completely EXPLODE!

Yes, it's not as straightforward as it should just yet. But as you said: You play a couple of times and you 'get it'.

Full game is not in the cards at the moment because as the disclaimer in the beginning mentions: we were unable to secure funds to make it work. :(

But at least it lives on in this version and people enjoy it.
